The Shungite Medium — Collector's Edition Color Hardcover
The Groundbreaking Exposé of History's Most Miraculous Stone
Celebrated photographer and entrepreneur Gary Fong fell ill at his desk in Kelowna, BC. Canada had just switched on its first "5G hot zone" outside his office.
Trained in pharmacology, radiology, and nuclear medicine, he grabbed his meter, broadcast the alarming readings on YouTube, then unplugged his microwave and stuck his head inside. The relief was instant.
His search led to a crater lake in Russia, and to shungite — a stone unlike any other carbon on Earth.
Russian villages have purified water with it since Peter the Great's soldiers carried it in 1714. It holds the molecule that won the 1996 Nobel Prize in Chemistry — the one that nearly doubled rats' lifespans in a peer-reviewed lab study, and that measurably lowers physiological stress when attached to a mobile phone.
Inside these pages: the geology, the only place on Earth where shungite occurs in commercial quantity, the families who still mine it by hand, the verification chain that separates the real from the counterfeit, and the lab work — including the author's own — showing it does something measurable to a living body.
Magic, or science? The answer is both.
